I learned how to develop a Life Path and the Tree of Life. The second session also had a very helpful exercise using a case study on how to explore life events/histories with a child aged 3; 8 and 15. There was a lot of useful reframing of how to use age appropriate language that would be less likely to add to the child’s trauma.

The most valuable thing ii have learnt from this course is that instead of us doing a life story book alone there are many ways to engage the child in life story work. There were more examples of how to work on a life story journey than just keeping photos and mementos.
